Welcome to Ochre.

We are a specialist Positive Behaviour Support agency that is based in Broome and supports participants throughout the Kimberley.
Our practitioners are all NDIS approved practitioners and collectively bring extensive knowledge in the areas of mental health, disability, behavioural analysis and support implementation. What's more, our team are all based in Broome which means we bring
local understanding, insight and connection to this unique part of the world.

We offer personalised supports and services to participants and their support networks and take a flexible approach in order to meet clients' individual communication, environmental and cultural needs. Ochre is values-led and dedicated to person-centred and trauma-informed care, with a commitment to promoting dignity and respect whilst building skills, capacity and confidence.

S E R V I C E S
At Ochre we are committed to providing tailored and person-centred Positive Behaviour Support, utilising evidence-based strategies and a flexible approach. We work with people of all ages and with all diagnoses including FASD, ADHD, Intellectual Disability, Schizophrenia and Autism Spectrum Disorder. We also work with complex presentations, including forensic.

At Ochre we believe that we are all a product and part of our environment, history and culture, and so we like to take a collaborative approach, working not only with participants, but, when appropriate, with their kin, carers and larger support networks to deepen our insight, incorporate cultural connection and beliefs, and to operate from a more holistic lens.

Functional Behaviour Assessments
Behaviour Support Plans - Standard and Comprehensive
Assessing and working with Restrictive Practices
Conducting regular in-person sessions
Writing support letters
Advocacy assistance when required
Developing behaviour support strategies and resources
Training carers and support staff
